World Class Surfing is minutes away north or south by water taxi or shuttle from just around the corner. 

Fishing for Dorado, Tuna, Bonita, Wahoo, Jacks, Roosters, Sail, and Swords is available from our fishing associates at the Moelle.  Boats are available for charter at reasonable daily and half day rates.   Just ask us.

Sailing Adventures aboard DonaLyn for trips south to the Bay of Salinas to view 13 miles of beautiful coastline and the mountains of Costa Rica are available several times a week.  

Dive or snorkel with Neptune Watersports .  Two tank dives, instruction and certification programs available.   We can make all arrangements here.

Restaurant Review

San Juan restaurants are plentiful in number and variety of cuisine.  Our personal favorites include El Colibri, a Meditteranean Garden restaurant offering the best in variety, taste and value.  This is off the beach but worth the short walk.

Las Cascada at Pelican Eyes is hard to beat with their cuisine, view and friendly staff.  Expect to pay more except on Wednesday and Friday nights when they offer two for one cocktails and a good selection of bocadillos.

Ol Sole O Mio recently reopened and we were impressed with their quality and decor.  This place is almost on our doorstep.

El Pozo has a raw Sunday with offerings of sushi and sashimi.

Other favorites are Big Wave Dave's where wireless is available, Coquito's, El Timon, Jerry's Pizza, and San Juan Pizzeria. .

Rico's on the beach serves cappuchino's, latte's and scrumptious muffins. Hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cold beer available daily while you relax on the sand in a beach chair.  Naturally wireless is available.
